ACTH fragment analogue

Semax

Semax is a synthetically produced peptide of 7 amino acids. It is a heptapeptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4-10) and extended with a stabilising modification. This structural adaptation distinguishes Semax from the native ACTH sequence and makes it a subject of investigation in its own right. In peptide research, Semax is an established representative of the short-chain regulatory peptides.
