NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme present in all living cells. It consists of two nucleotides joined through their phosphate groups and is among the central molecules of cellular metabolism. Unlike the classical chain peptides, NAD+ is a dinucleotide coenzyme, and an established, widely studied molecule in cell and metabolic research.
